Checklist- Upgrading to a Dealer Account

Dealer Account vs. Dealer Feed Account

The only difference between the two account options is with a dealer feed account, items (and images) are managed (added, modified, and deleted) through a .CSV file. Both accounts are free and both accounts have the same limitations except the feed account has a hard limit of 20 images per item posted.

Follow these steps to upgrade to a dealer account:

1. Register an account on listhd.com. Keep in mind that your store address will be listhd.net/username.
2. Start posting your inventory. After posting at least 5 items, go to the next step.
3. Go to the Feedback page. Submit a request to upgrade your account. Be sure to use the email address you registered with on listhd. Enter your listhd username and select “Free Dealer Upgrade” as the subject.
4. Your request will be processed ASAP and a notification will be sent to you once completed.

Follow these steps to upgrade to a dealer FEED account:

1. Register an account on listhd.com. Keep in mind that your store address will be listhd.net/username.
2. Start posting your inventory. Go ahead and post to craigslist as well. The point of this is to be sure you understand how to use listHD and to know what it has to offer. After posting at least 5 items, go to the next step.
3. Submit a request to upgrade your account using the form below. Be sure to use the email address you registered with on listHD. Include at least 3 items in the feed submited in the form below. The feed should be based on the sample feed and documentation provided here.
4. Your request will be processed ASAP and a notification will be sent to you once completed. The feed has to manually be setup, so it may take a few days.
5. Look for a “feed complete” email. Once you receive that email, you can login, update the feed, and add images via “manage inventory”.
