BARRELS
55 gallon metal barrels. They can be used for BBQ'S and Food storage containers. The can act as containers for oil including biodiesel and vegetable oil. I have oen top and sealed containers with two screw in caps.
Some containers have lids that come off for easy placement and removal of food or grains.
Cost $35 per METAL barrel
I also have a few sealed HDPE (plastic) barrels with two screw in caps or bungs at a Cost of $50 per HDPE barrel.
I deliver barrels at $30 per delivery (maximum 10 barrels per load) in the Chico/Paradise/Oroville area.
These containers contained apricot,berry, pear,maple syrup concentrates or mollases. Many labels are still on the barrels.
Barrels have been cleaned with soap and water. Barrels are not refigerators, so should not be left out in hot weather. Barrels should be kept inside. Barrels will rust with water or polar solvents like acids or bases inside them as they are not galvinized(zinc coated) or made of stainless steel. Please make sure you clean your barrel throughly before use and make sure they are dry before food or animal feed is placed in the containers.
FRUIT TREES
I use the barrels as containers for growing large fruit trees. If you are going to use them as/ planters, holes need to be made in the base for drainage. I can make holes in the bases if you want them as planters at no extra charge. I presently have peach trees and loquat trees for sale that have been grown from seed in containers from 3 foot to nine feet tall. They are starting to blossom. I charge $10 per foot for these fruit trees. Other trees include cork oak trees.
COMPOST
I deliver well composted horse manure for growing your fruit trees and for those raised vegetable gardens. No other soil is necessary. Compost is loose and easy to work. I charge $110 in the Chico/paradise area for a 65 cubic foot or a 2.4 cubic yard load.See my images attached to this advert.I look forward to assisting you with all your garden needs.
